RELATE. Faith, AI, and Relationships

Technological advancement has often been met with fear and resistance. Yet, its progress is relentless and unstoppable. This raises a pressing question: Is technology making us better or worse? In this presentation, we aim to explore this dilemma by delving into even more complex and provocative questions: Is technology enhancing our work, environment, and relationships, or is it eroding them? Can artificial intelligence truly understand human values? To what extent does AI expose our humanity and reveal our hidden biases? Are we becoming superhuman or more vulnerable than ever before? Has AI already infiltrated the very operating system of human civilisation? Has it reshaped the ways we connect and relate to one another? And where does faith find its place in this evolving digital landscape? If I text Jesus, does He respond? Is God's presence still real within the walls of a virtual church?
