Harnessing Music Publishing for Digital Mission

This presentation redefines music publishing as more than a legal or commercial necessity; it frames it as a strategic ministry tool that supports the global impact of spiritually inspired music. In an increasingly digital and borderless world, music publishing enables creators within the Adventist music community to protect their intellectual property, distribute their work effectively, and expand their reach across various platforms and media. By exploring the intersection of message and marketplace, this session will demonstrate how music publishing can serve as a bridge, enabling music ministries and artists to steward their work with strategic intentionality and purpose. Attendees will gain insights into the practical applications of music publishing, learning how to navigate rights management, licensing, and administration in a way that not only aligns with their mission but supports it financially. Whether working independently or in partnership with music organisations, Adventist music creators can utilise the tools of publishing to amplify their message, establish sustainable ministry models, and engage listeners worldwide with greater impact and professionalism.
